This Peanut Roaster Kit comes fully assembled and ready to go! Fits inside of your Ron Popeil (also known as "RONCO SHOWTIME") 6000 PRO rotisserie. No alterations to your rotisserie are needed for this roaster to work! Complete operating and roasting instructions included, along with 1/2 cup unroasted nuts to start you off! Peanut Roasting Drum is 6" in diameter by 15 3/4" in length, with 7" end cap plates. Suggested roasting capacity in an unaltered RONCO 6000 pro is 1 pound of nuts; however can easily hold up to 5 pounds of nuts (much more than other more expensive units.) Nothing else needed to buy.

Q: Are there any non-metal parts that are part of this unit?
A: Absolutely not. The Peanut Roaster Kit is 100% metal construction. No part of the unit is made from plastic or other non-metal part.
Q: Does this roaster have vertical fins inside of the roasting drum to help evenly distribute the nuts during the roasting process? I cannot tell from the picture.
A: Yes in fact it does. The fins are attached inside of the drum, and significantly help in the roasting process.
Q: I see that the drum can hold up to 5 pounds of nuts. What would I need to do to the RONCO 6000 unit to allow a 5 pound roast?
A: You would need to find a way to safely increase the temperature of the RONCO 6000 so that it could sustain (again safely) an interior temperature increase to appropriately roast larger quantities of nuts. Otherwise this drum is to be used at the recommended 1 pound roast capacity in an unaltered RONCO 6000.
