The nutROAST-IDM comes fully assembled and ready to go! This Nut Roaster is based upon the RONCO 6000 PRO rotisserie. Adjustable thermostat for roasting temperature control. Perforated Stainless Steel is used for the construction of the sidewalls of the roasting drum. Also included is a built in oven thermometer so you can review the actual temperature inside the roaster. The nutROAST-IDM even has an intercooled electrical ventilation system for smoke extraction which vents the nut roasting smoke to the outside! Complete operating and roasting instructions included, along with 1/2 cup unroasted peanuts to start you off! AGAIN, can easily roast up to 5 lb. of nuts at a time. Nothing else needed to buy except permanent heat proof ventilation tubing to go from unit to the outside. 120 Volt AC. Temporary heat proof ventilation tubing is included with purchase for short term use.

A: Absolutely not. The Peanut Roasting drum is 100% metal construction.
Q: What are the roasting drum sidewalls made of, aluminum or stainless steel?
A: With this Indoor model the roasting drum sidewalls are made of perforated Stainless Steel.
Q: Does this roaster have vertical fins inside of the roasting drum to help evenly distribute the nuts during the roasting process? I cannot tell from the picture.
A: Yes in fact it does. The fins are attached inside of the drum, and significantly help in the roasting process.
