Q: Are there any non-metal parts that are part of this unit?
A: Absolutely not. The Roaster Drum is 100% metal construction. No part of the unit is made from plastic or other non-metal part.

Q: Does this roaster have vertical fins inside of the roasting drum to help evenly distribute the nuts during the roasting process? I cannot tell from the picture.
A: Yes in fact it does. The fins are attached inside of the drum, and significantly help in the roasting process.
